Charming Xiangxi Show is a minorities performance, with local folk songs, dances, amazing acrobatics and stories etc.
Xiangxi means west part of Hunan province, there are lots of minorities people living in this mountain area. They have their own different life style, customs, even language. Their life are colorful and mysterious. When you travel here, it’s not easy to visit their living place, the remote mountain area, but this show is the best window to learn about their ethnic life.
The show combined traditional ethnic arts and skills with the sound, light and electricity technologies for the modern stage. It allows about 2800 people to watch at the same time, and normally it’s two rounds every evening. It has two parts, indoor part and outdoor part. on indoor part each minority will show their unique folk songs, love story and wild dances. on outdoor part, the kungfu master will show local Qigong including climb the knife mountain, and tread the fire place.
Of course, the essence of this show lies indoor part, the programs are including fire drum dancing, chasing love by climb ladder, crying marriage etc.
