Upon arrival, your private guide & driver will be waiting for you at Zhangjiajie airport & train station, then escorted you to hotel for rest. (the flights are normally landing at night)

After breakfast, meet your guide at hotel lobby, then heading to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, to visit its most popular areas Avatar mountain and Tianzi mountain.

Avatar mountain located in Yuanjiajie, a high mountain village. Take an mountain elevator which is built on the cliff side, to see the real hallelujah mountain, walking in the enlarged bonsai garden.

Have a rest or drinking at mountain restaurant, then heading to Tianzi mountain by shuttle bus. It’s the highest area among the whole park, you will see so many peaks standing just like soldiers in the deep valley, later on, you will be getting down the mountain by cable car, it’s an exciting moment, as you can get very closed to see the view of mountain peaks.

Today you will visit Zhangjiajie national forest park again, Golden Whip Stream, a grand canyon, the lowest area in the park. It’s a nice place for walking, you can walk along the stream, enjoy the mountain peaks which stands on two sides, and wild monkey playing on the trees.

After that, getting back to the town, have a lunch, then heading to Yellow Dragon Cave.

Yellow Dragon Cave, It is a karst cave, with peculiar limestone formations, underground streams, Fantastic shapes of stalagmites. There are underground rivers, waterfalls, large halls and thousands of stalagmites, columns. And It’s the most beautiful karst cave in the world.

Tianmen Mountain, well known by its Heaven’s Gate Hole. The highest mountain in Zhangjiajie area. You will take world’s longest cable way which is 7500 meters, to the top. To see its limestone formation, heaven’s gate hole, ancient temple, and walking through the glass sky walk plank. later on you will get down the mountain by taking shuttle bus from 99 bends mountain road.

After lunch, will be heading to Furong ancient town, about 2 hours by car.

Furong Town or called lotus town, features of waterfalls and minority historical culture. Its previous name called king’s village where local king lived here. Since the movie Furong town filmed in 1986, so its name changed. We will arrange a local featured inn for you overnight stay, which is closed to the waterfalls and king’s old house.

The Red Stone Forest Park features of Red Stone Forest Karst views, It includes the stone forest, peak cluster, stone pillars, rivers, lakes, underground rivers, waterfalls, caves, standard geological section fossil and so on.

Dehang means beautiful valley in Miao language, located in a quiet place where high mountain surrounded. The people here like sing mountain songs and wild dancing, not only enjoy the beautiful views, but also you can learn about their mysterious culture.

Fenghuang Ancient Town or Phoenix Ancient Town, is reputed as the most beautiful town in China by Rewi Alley, a famous writer from New Zealand. This town is well preserved over the years and many of the original architecture such as the wooden houses on stilts. You will be walking in this minority ancient town, visit many old houses, and take boat in the Tuo river.

After your Zhangjiajie fenghuang tour finished, we will send you to Tongren airport or Huaihua high-speed train station, for departing.
